High Priority and Federal Fleets

⚠️ Important Policy Update – January 2025

In January 2025, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) withdrew its EPA waiver request for the Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF) regulation's fleet purchase requirements. Without the EPA waiver, the ACF mandates for high-priority and federal fleets — including ZEV purchase and acquisition requirements beginning January 1, 2024 — cannot be enforced by California. Monitor ARB.CA.gov for the latest enforcement status and compliance guidance.
